Oak Creek Farm is located in the Pleasant Valley Wine Region of the El Dorado County, California Sierra Foothills. Located just 30 minutes north of Folsom, and 15 minutes from downtown Placerville, the farm sits nestled in a small valley surrounded by beautiful heritage oaks and fragrant ponderosa pines.

Oak Creek Farm is a unique, private full-service training facility specializing in the sport of Dressage. It is also where one can enjoy quiet and peaceful times with their equine friend, riding our 1 1/2 mile conditioning trail amongst the woods and hills with a spectacular view of the Sierras. We also offer training programs, sales services, and promotion for Gypsy Horses and proudly present our Gypsy Stallion Rom Firavoni.

Our climate is perfect for enjoying the training and riding of the horses as well as for growing grapes. For the rider, a nice addition to the day is to visit one of our neighboring award winning wineries.

Resident Owner, Trainer and Instructor Stacy Sutton is committed to offer proven and effective teaching and training methods to meet the needs of both horse and riders. She is highly dedicated to providing professional riding instruction that is educational, personally rewarding, and fun.

Assistant Instructor June Juvet offers positive, safe, and correct foundational methods to beginning and novice students on our wonderful school horses and ponies.

We provide an environment on the farm where the physical and mental needs of every horse can be met. This ensures healthier and happier horses, as well as safer and more enjoyable conditions for everyone. While we desire to remain a small in-house full training operation, we welcome trailer-in lessons and also offer Dressage Riding Lessons.

Both staff and students alike enjoy competing at USDF and CDS rated shows as well as schooling shows throughout the show season. There are a number of both rated and schooling horse shows located within an hour from the farm, of various disciplines including Dressage, Eventing, and Hunter/Jumpers.

We proudly host a quality Schooling Dressage Show Series on the premises each summer-Fall, and offer riding clinics with extraordinarily talented instructors.
